This article explains how to export your payers' card and bank data from Stripe into another PCI-compliant gateway. In this guide, we will walk you through the necessary steps to securely extract your payment data from Stripe, ensuring you maintain compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) throughout the process. 

1. Log into your Stripe account. 

Go to your Stripe Dashboard
Select Business settings
Select Account details
Find your account ID in the top right of the page and copy it.

 
3. Copy the body of the email below into the message area and include your stripe account ID (if you have multiple stripe accounts)
 
4. Attach the compliance PDF document (your new gateway will provide that to you)
 
Write a email similar to the following

Hello Stripe Support,

I am writing to request assistance with exporting data from our Stripe account [account id]. 

Specifically, we need to export customer information and associated payment methods, including full credit card details and bank details, to our new payment service provider, [New Gateway provider name].

[New provider name] is a PCI level 1 compliant company please find the attached document from Visa’s Global Registry of Service Providers.

Can you please encrypt the exported customers using this PGP key provided by [New provider name]

Please save the file with the description [My Company Name] so [New Gateway provider name] can identify who the import is for.

Then upload the encrypted data to this link to securely send the file to [New Gateway provider name]
