This custom object allows you to directly onboard customers from Halo without having to log into Cloud Depot ![](https://kb.clouddepot.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-17-2025-10-33-51-0065-PM.png?width=899&height=80&name=image-png-Apr-17-2025-10-33-51-0065-PM.png) **Please Note:** Turning on this option allows any user with access to Halo to start an onboarding process without needing to sign in to Cloud Depot. Authentication is securely handled using encrypted tokens passed to Cloud Depot. For added security, you can enable IP access restrictions within Cloud Depot to control who can use this feature.  Customer Portal The customer portal custom object is designed for internal use, enabling your staff to quickly onboard customers onto the RPS platform. HaloPSA -\> Configuration -\> Custom Objects -\> Custom Buttons **Step 1** Select the Customer entity from the Custom Buttons section in HaloPSA ![](https://kb.clouddepot.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-13-2025-09-46-03-7993-PM.png?width=386&height=124&name=image-png-Mar-13-2025-09-46-03-7993-PM.png) **Step 2**  Click on the "New" button located at the top right of the page to initiate the creation of a new Custom Button object. Assign a name and label to your button; for instance, we have chosen "Cloud Depot Onboarding in RPS" for the name and "Onboarding in RPS" for the label. Furthermore, choose an icon that represents your button. In this guide, we have selected the paper plane icon, but you are welcome to pick any icon or description that suits your preferences. Retrieve the URL from the 'Onboard New Customer in RPS' option and insert it into the URL field within HaloPSA.
