How to setup the payment link in Xero for HostedPay

This article is a walkthrough on how to setup the payment link for HostedPay in Xero

Make sure you have complete the setup wizard in HostedPay first

1. In the side menu, locate the 'Xero Pay Online Setup' option listed under the Xero heading.

2. Copy the Xero Pay Online URL and save it in a notepad, as you will need to paste this information into Xero later.

3. Log into Xero if you haven't done so already

 

4. Under the dropdown menu for you Company Name select settings

5. Choose 'Payment Services' from the Features section.

6. Select 'Add new payment service'

7. Select 'add another online payment option' from the bottom of the page in small text.

8. Click Custom Payment URL and click 'Continue'

9.Insert the custom URL you copied from HostedPay in step 2 into the 'Your custom URL' field. Then, complete the remaining information as shown in the screenshot below, and click 'Save' to finalize your setup.

10. Apply the payment gateway to your Xero templates. From the same page in Xero, select **Connected services**, then click **Manage themes**.

11. Set the connected payment service to the Branding theme. 

For each Branding theme where you want to accept HostedPay, select HostedPay under the Credit card heading, then save your changes.
