Understanding fees for refunded payments

Issuing a refund may result in additional fees based on your fee schedule. Please note that the processing fees charged by your gateway & Cloud Depot for the original transaction will still be liable for fees

A significant portion of the costs associated with payment processing arises from fees imposed by banks and payment networks, such as Visa and Mastercard. These networks establish the rules governing the fees applicable to refunded transactions. Often, banks and card networks retain the full upfront fee from a refunded payment. Additionally, in certain regions and for specific payment methods, refunds may incur extra charges.
